8th grade Beach Day! Important Updates!!

8th graders Released at 2:45 on Tuesday, 6/27!!!

Looks like Tuesday is going to be a beautiful day!

Students will be returning from the beach about 5th period on Tuesday and will have an opportunity to sign yearbooks, eat a popsicle, and hang out. In our lengthy experience with beach day, students are generally very worn out by end of day and ready to go home. This year, 8th graders will have a special 1-hour early release time (just for them!) at 2:45.  Students who take a bus or other Seattle Public Schools (SPS) transportation will be provided supervision within the building with one or more of the 8th grade advisory teachers. If your 8th grader does not take SPS transportation, please make plans with them now to either provide transport home or to where you would like them to be for the remainder of the day. 8th graders who do not take SPS transportation must leave campus and start enjoying their extra afternoon time; (campus includes the courtyard and the Big Howe Field during the school day.)

It’s going to be a really fun day – thanks to all who have helped to make it happen!!

Thank you!!
