Where Everybody Belongs (WEB)

The WEB Leadership class is an elective year-long course for 8th graders who have completed the 7th grade WEB Tryouts and been selected as mentors for the incoming 6th grade class.  The course provides opportunities for students to learn more about themselves and who they want to be, to learn and to develop their leadership skills, and to effectively work in groups by planning and facilitating authentic activities for 6th graders.  This class will include in-class assignments, community service, group and individual special projects, and active involvement in serving McClure’s 6th grade students.  WEB Leaders also serve as role models and ambassadors to the new Mavericks and the McClure community.
