Dear McClure families and staff,

I am pleased to announce Ann Jennings has been selected as the acting principal for McClure Middle School. Principal Jennings began serving as acting principal on July 8.

Principal Jennings, who has served as assistant principal at McClure since 2022, is an experienced educator and administrator focused on equity, inclusion, and maximizing results for all students.

With over 20 years of professional experience, she has taken on many roles including school administrator, teacher, team leader, and mentor. Principal Jennings first came to McClure in 2013. She has served as a science teacher, math teacher, math department lead, and math coach. She holds her National Board Certification in early adolescent math education and earned her administrative certificate from UW Bothell.

I also want to thank Principal Shannon Conner for her leadership and service to McClure. Please join me in welcoming Principal Jennings to her new role!
