Ann Jennings has been selected as the permanent principal for McClure Middle School.

Dear McClure Community,

I am pleased to announce that Ann Jennings has been selected as the permanent principal for McClure Middle School.

With over 20 years of professional experience, Principal Jennings has taken on many roles including teacher, mentor, team leader, and school administrator.

Principal Jennings first came to McClure in 2013. She has served as a science teacher, math teacher, math department lead, math coach, assistant principal, and acting principal. She holds her National Board Certification in early adolescent math education and earned her administrative certificate from the University of Washington – Bothell.

Principal Jennings was selected through a formal interview process that included staff, parents, and community participation. What stood out to the McClure interview team was her commitment to the McClure community, and her focus on equity, inclusion, belonging, and maximizing results for all students.

We look forward to the extraordinary work Principal Jennings will lead at McClure Middle School. Please join me in welcoming Principal Jennings to her permanent role!
