Hope you had a wonderful week – here are some news items for our community.
PTSA Back to School Bash
A fun time was had by all participants. Thank you, McClure PTSA, for bringing together our community for a fun time on a beautiful evening!
Picture Day is next Tuesday, September 24th
Curriculum Night, Thursday, October 10th, 6:00 – 8:00 pm
We are excited to welcome you all into our school on Curriculum Night! More details to come.
Family-Student Conferences, Monday, November 25th, 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
Family-student conferences are scheduled for the Monday of the Thanksgiving Holiday week. More details to come.
Students Must Stay on Campus…please remind them:
Just a quick reminder that once kids are dropped off (either by bus or by you!), they are to stay on campus. They are technically in our care once they are here and if they wander away to the Ave or somewhere else, we would have no idea where they are if there was an emergency, etc. We are not a high school, and we are not an open campus. Thank you for reminding your McClure student about this! 😊
Covid and Flu vaccination clinic at McClure!!
Seattle Public Schools is offering Covid and flu vaccine clinics. These are open to all in the SPS community—you do not have to be a student of staff of a particular school to make an appointment. There are several dates and times at schools across the district. There will be one at McClure on November 6th. More info here on SPS website: Vaccine Clinic Info

Oder your McClure SWAG – we’ve extended the online store opening. Orders will be delivered to McClure. Purchase McClure Swag
Laptop Cases:
The school district did not provide laptop cases this year. Please confirm that your student has a laptop case or small tote if you are able. Also, if you are able, we would be so grateful for any totes or spare laptop bags that you could donate to the school. Just have your McClure student bring to the main office. Thank you!!

School Forms – Repeat message
Most School Forms can be filled out online and/or you can send directly to our Attendance Specialist, Ms. Brennan cabrennan@seattleschools.org. Various languages are available and paper forms can be printed for you in the McClure Main Office if that works better for you. Back to School Forms. Please contact us if you need assistance.
Sports
Ultimate Frisbee: Tryouts continue this week for everyone:
Mon 9/23: all 6th and 7th graders
Wed 9/25: all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders
Fri 9/27: all 8th graders
First game:
Sat 9/28: Time and location TBD.
Registration:
All players must be registered through FinalForms and have a signed physical form. Visit the McClure Athletics website for contact information and more registration details.
