PTSA-Funded Sound System in Cafeteria
Thank you, McClure PTSA for funding a new sound system in the cafeteria. The speakers have been installed in phase 1 and are working well. Phase 2 will include a projector and screen for assemblies, events, and performances. This project has been in the works for a few years, and it is great to have it finally happen.
PTSA Breakfast Treats for Staff
Thank you to the PTSA for the cereal party last week. It was fun!

Curriculum Night, Thursday, October 10th, 6:00 – 8:00 pm
We are so excited to welcome you all into our school on Curriculum Night!
In planning for the event, please feel free to bring your McClure student with you – we’d love to see them!! But…we do have large class sizes which will make for crowded spaces. Please use your judgement in deciding whether to
Also, we will have Childcare! — Our wonderful ASB leaders will provide supervision and entertainment for your younger children so you can relax and enjoy the evening.
The family brochure with your student’s schedule should come home to you via “kid-mail” this week. There will be space on the brochure for your McClure student to enter his/her/their class schedule so you know where you are going on Curriculum Night. 
Like last year, we’ll start the evening with Advisory and “evening” announcements. Parents will then move through their child’s schedule.

Family-Student Conferences, Monday, November 25th, 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
Family-student conferences are scheduled for the Monday of the Thanksgiving Holiday week. More details to come.
Covid and Flu vaccination clinic at McClure!!
Seattle Public Schools is offering Covid and flu vaccine clinics. These are open to all in the SPS community—you do not have to be a student of staff of a particular school to make an appointment. There are several dates and times at schools across the district. There will be one at McClure on November 6th. More info here on SPS website: Vaccine Clinic Info
Laptop Cases:
The school district did not provide laptop cases this year. Please confirm that your student has a laptop case or small tote if you are able. Also, if you are able, we would be so grateful for any totes or spare laptop bags that you could donate to the school. Just have your McClure student bring to the main office. Thank you!!
