At McClure, we believe that a strong, connected community is the foundation of a thriving school. The McClure PTSA is a dedicated group of parents, staff, students, and community partners working together to support the academic success and well-being of every student in our neighborhood middle school.
We invite every family to take an active role in their student’s educational journey. Whether through volunteering, attending events, or staying engaged with school activities, your involvement makes a meaningful difference.
With your support and in partnership with McClure staff, we can help every student reach their full potential. Research shows that family engagement is one of the most powerful factors in student success—especially during the middle school years. This is a time of growth and transition when students are seeking independence while still needing the steady support of a caring and involved community.
By joining the PTSA, participating in meetings and school events, and volunteering your time, you help create a nurturing environment where all students can thrive. Together, we can build a school community that supports academic excellence, fosters community and connection, and uplifts every student. We look forward to partnering with you this year!

6th Grade Families Popsicles in the Park
Thursday, July 31 and Wednesday, August 20 – 5:30-6:30 p.m. @ Big Howe*
Bring your students and come over to Big Howe* to meet other incoming 6th grade students and families! This will be a nice, fun way to meet some new friends before school starts.
PTSA “Perk Up” Station
Wednesday, September 3rd (1st day of school) – Drop Off Time @ Big Howe*
Wish your kiddo good luck on the 1st day of school and stay and have a cup of coffee and a pastry on behalf of the PTSA. The first day is a big day for both students and families!
McClure Back to School Social
Tuesday, September 16th – 5:30-7 p.m. @ Big Howe*
This is a family-friendly bash, so we encourage families to please attend with your students! More information coming soon.
*Big Howe is West Queen Anne Playfield just south of McClure.
