Fall Direct Drive
We STILL need your help!!
We are at the tail end of our fall Direct Drive but we are only halfway to our goal. Thank you to the generous families who have donated. We know we are asking a lot, but, if you are able to donate any amount, we would greatly appreciate it. We desperately want to offer our kids the resources and activities that we were able to offer preceding the pandemic.
Because of our tumultuous Covid journey, McClure, like most school in Seattle and beyond, has had a few tough economic years, leaving us unable to provide some of the services and opportunities for our kids and community. We are overjoyed to be coming out of the pandemic and focusing on academics and our kids’ well-being but we would love to offer more. PLEASE consider donating to our school. Every little bit counts and we are so grateful for your support.
Thank you to all who have already given!
The Fall Direct Drive is our biggest and most important fundraiser of the year. 100% of our donations will support the PTSA budget for the school year. This includes funding for materials, curriculum, technology, extra support, enrichment opportunities and more. All donations are tax deductible.
Corporate Matching! Don’t forget that many companies will match employee donations. Corporate matching is an easy way to magnify the impact of your contribution. Many local employers (e.g., Microsoft) match 100% of the donation. That means you can DOUBLE your impact.
Our goal this year is $60,000 and we can do it with your help! That’s an average of $144/family. We understand that not all families are able to contribute, and some will contribute more. Stay tuned for additional information about the Drive and how funds are used to support our students.
Questions? Contact our Fundraising Chair, Emily Wang emily.wang@windermere.com.
Snow?
Should schools be shut down due to snow, we will continue to have school virtually. Teachers will provide instructions via their Schoology pages and links to their TEAMS, virtual class meetings. They will likely meet with students on line, provide some instruction and then release student to work on asynchronous work (work on their own). Teachers will be available to support students during their classes via TEAMS or Schoology. The good news is that if we provide virtual learning during snow days, we will not have to make up these days at the end of the school year. If you have questions, please reach out to your students’ teachers. Stay warm!
