    SPS-SPL Library Link

Library Link is a program that provides access to the Seattle Public Library's electronic resources for students at partner schools, including McClure Middle School. Your student ID gives you access to the Seattle Public Library's vast collection of information resources. For more information, visit the Library Link homepage.

Libby, by Overdrive - E-book & Audiobook App

Libby is a free app that allows you download free e-books and audiobooks from your local public library - anywhere, anytime. All you need is a library card OR your student ID (see information about SPS-SPL Library Link, above). Click the following link to get started: Meet Libby.

    Volunteer Opportunities

Please contact PTSA Volunteer Coordinator Trina Bergquist or McClure Librarian Kelsey Klug about opportunities to help out in the library. We always love help processing and repairing books and frequently have other special projects as well.

The MISSION of the McClure Library is to support students and staff in developing the skills necessary to be independent users and producers of ideas and information.

We are also devoted to helping connect students, staff and parents to information resources, both print & digital and:

    • Support academic curriculum through research skills instruction, literature connections, and technology integration.
    • Build a diverse collection to support reading for personal and academic growth.
    • Contribute to a safe, dynamic research and learning environment for students and staff.
